Overcoming FearOvercome Fear

Do you need help overcoming fear of failure?  Perhaps you are nervous about pulling your kids out of Public School in order to Home school them?  Or you are fearful you cannot home school your child all the way through High School?  Maybe you are starting a new business?

There are so many things to be fearful about in life.  I was scared when I first started homeschooling.  I just knew I was going to screw up my kids.  Every year I have a brief time where I think I am failing.  But that is just my brain telling me I can’t do it.  Instead I have to tell myself I can do it.  I can homeschool my children successfully through High School.  I can start this blog and be successful.

This is an amazing quote from Christy Wright

“Even if you conquer your fear of doing one thing, there moment you try something new, push your limits, or take on a new challenge, you’re going to have a whole new set of fears that come with it.  The bad news is, you’ll probably have some level of fear with you the rest of your life.  But the great news is, it doesn’t have to stop you from doing the things you want to do.”[1]

Furthermore, the truth is everyone is scared of doing something sometime in their life.  It is a normal part of life.  You have to keep telling yourself, “I CAN do it.” “I CAN succeed.”  When it comes down to it, God wants us all to succeed.  He wants us to follow our calling.  Be courageous!  And if your fears are louder then what you are telling yourself, be louder.  Be in control!  You can do it!  I believe in you!  Don’t let fear rule your life!
